Besser Museum offers kids Space Science Saturdays

Besser Museum for Northeast Michigan offers Space Science Saturdays starting Jan. 14 through Feb. 25. The seven consecutive sessions will be held from 12:30-2 p.m. for children 9-11 years of age.

Instructor Mike Stoll will introduce participants to the wonders of outer space through hands-on learning. Topics include:

Sign-up for a "far-out-time" exploring the universe. Cost for the program is $85 for non-members (15 percent discount for members). Payment must be made in full one week before the first class starts.

Students also get to attend the Saturday Planetarium Show for free. Space is limited. To reserve a spot, call the museum at 356-2202 or go to www.bessermuseum.org.
