Harold and Patti Barnard of 109 S. 12th St., Alpena, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at the Alpena Golf Club with family and close friends.
Mr. Barnard and the former Patricia Gallagher were married Sept. 19, 1961, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Alpena. They have four children: Bill and Wendy Barnard of Alpena, Lori Brilinski of Alpena, Dawn and Patrick Sullivan of State College, Pa., and Thomas and Beth Barnard of Evans, Ga. The couple also has eight grandchildren: Kara and Sara Brilinski; Emma, Lily and Gaven Sullivan; and Emma, Drew and Lucy Barnard. They are both retired.
