Keith and Shirley Peterson of Spruce celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 3 with family and friends. The celebration included dinner and a renewal of their wedding vows.
The couple's children are Brian and Andrea of Wisconsin; Debbie and Jim Jessen of Rock Springs, Wyo; Brenda and Mark Bite of Hastings; Mike and Wendy of Auburn; and Tim and Kendra of Hubbard Lake. In addition to their five children, the couple has 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Keith and the former Shirley Schultz were united in marriage on Sept. 30, 1961, at Salem Lutheran Church in Hubbard Lake.
