David and Louise Idalski of 311 Barry Street, Alpena, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a celebration with immediate family given by their children. The couple enjoyed a cookout held Aug. 19 and a dinner held Aug. 20 at the Courtyard. Sharing in the celebration was Louise's mother, Naomi Jaskolski.
Mr. Idalski and the former Louise Jaskolski were married Aug. 19, 1961, in Alpena. Their children are Greg (Michelle) Idalski of Alpena, Mark Idalski of Clawson, Colleen (Todd) Konieczny of Herron and Darcy (Marc Mowery) Walker of Alpena.
The couple has five grandchildren: Reilly Walker, Jase Walker, Cameron Konieczny, Anna Konieczny and Ellie Konieczny .
