Kristen Lee Hansen of Lachine and Alexander Joseph Wisniewski of Alpena announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dan and Jane Hansen of Lachine. The future groom is the son of Bryan Wisniewski of Alpena, and Pattie and Jack Conklin of Scottville.
Kristen is a 2007 graduate of Alpena High School, a 2009 graduate of Alpena Community College and a 2011 graduate of Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She is employed by Child and Family Services of Northeast Michigan as a treatment specialist at Hope House in Alpena.

Alexander attended Alpena High School, is a 2009 graduate of Alpena Community College and a 2011 graduate of Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography. He is employed by ACC as an adjunct instructor of photography and is also a freelance portrait photographer.
The couple will exchange their wedding vows Dec. 31, 2011, at Community of Christ Church in Lachine.
