Family and friends gathered recently at the Alpena APlex Center for an engagement reception honoring Ashley Anderson and Brian Nowak.
Ashley is the daughter of Brenda and Paul Anderson of Houston, Texas, and is employed by Accenture Corp. Brian is the son of Jeanne and Tom Nowak of Alpena, and is employed by Nomura Corp.
The couple will be married Nov. 5, 2011, at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City.
