Cristie Neubert and Dan VanMassenhove, both of Alpena, announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mary Ann Neubert and the late Gregory Neubert of Alpena. The future groom is the son of Gary and Sally VanMassenhove of Alpena.
Cristie is a 2002 graduate of Alpena Community College, a 2004 graduate of Michigan State University with two Bachelor of Arts degrees, and a 2009 graduate of Thomas M. Cooley Law School with a Juris Doctorate degree concentrating in litigation. She is currently pursuing an advanced LLM degree in corporate law and finance. Cristie is an attorney at Kane, Funk & Poch, P.C., practicing in family law, estate planning, bankruptcy, and corporate/commercial transactions.

Dan is a 2000 graduate of Alpena High School and a 2005 graduate of Lake Superior State University with a degree in manufacturing engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in engineering management. He is employed with Decorative Panels International as a quality/process control engineer and an environmental lab superintendent.
The couple will exchange their wedding vows Nov. 12, 2011, at Word of Life Baptist Church in Alpena.
