Meagen Powell and Christopher Lane announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jan Powell of Alpena and Ron McArdle of Tawas. The future groom is the son of Patrick and Pam Lane of Alpena.
Meagen is a 2005 graduate of Lincoln High School in Lincoln, Calif., and is employed by Tendercare Greenview. Chris is a 2002 graduate of Alpena High School and is employed by Culver's Restaurant and Komo's Pizzeria.
