Brittany Nicole Zeltman and Matthew Paul Knechtel exchanged their wedding vows June 11, 2011, at Fairfield Christian Church, North Campus in Baltimore, Ohio. Pastor Bennett Smith officiated the 3:30 p.m. double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mark and Marcia Zeltman of Lancaster, Ohio. The groom is the son of Craig and Becky Knechtel of Pickerington, Ohio and summer residents of Alpena.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was her friend, Ali Sudborough. Bridesmaids were Lydia Blaney, Julie Kerr, Kelsey Peters and Larissa Richard, friends of the bride, and Sarah Fitzpatrick, cousin of the groom. Attending the groom as best man was his brother, Eric Peter Knechtel. Groomsmen were Ryan Levey, Justin Grecni, David Hawkins and Kevin Ludwig, friends of the groom, and Zach Zeltman, brother of the bride. Ushers included Zach Tracy, friend of the groom, and Josh Grahl, cousin of the groom. Flower girls were Anna Brucki and Kaitlyn Tracy, friends of the bride.

Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held in the same location as the ceremony. Pre-nuptial parties included a rehearsal dinner at the Olive Garden in Pickerington, Ohio.

The couple traveled to Pigeon Forge, Tenn., for their honeymoon. A reception in their honor will be held in Alpena on July 16 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Hall, 1960 W. M-32 starting at 6 p.m. This reception is for family and friends in the area to gather together and celebrate with Matt and Brittany.

Brittany is a 2007 graduate of Fairfield Christian Academy and a 2011 graduate of Spring Arbor University, with a BA in Elementary Education. Matt is a 2006 graduate of Fairfield Christian Academy and a 2011 graduate of Spring Arbor University with a BS in Mathematics and Sociology.
