Kim Maria Gerke of Ossineke and Daniel Albert Prevo of Herron announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Kurt and Tina Gerke of Hubbard Lake. Her fiance is the son of Jordan and Maria Prevo of Herron.
Kim is a 2004 graduate of Alpena High School, a 2007 graduate of Alpena Community College with an associate's degree in applied science as a registered nurse, and a 2009 graduate of Chamberlain College of Nursing with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is employed by Alpena Regional Medical Center as a registered nurse and Alpena Community College as a clinical instructor.

The couple will exchange their wedding vows June 25, 2011, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Herron.
