Laura Naylor and Nathan Badour, both of Essexville, announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bill and Debbie Naylor of Alpena. Her fiance is the son of Mike and Kathy Badour of Essexville.
Laura is a 2002 graduate of Alpena High School and a 2007 graduate of Central Michigan University. She is employed as a dispatcher at Transport Service Company in Midland.

Nathan is a 2000 graduate of Garber High School and completed an apprenticeship program at Michigan Council of Carpenters. He is self-employed.
The couple will exchange their wedding vows Aug. 6, 2011, at First Congregational United Church of Christ in Alpena.
