Amy Kim Yachasz and Corey Daniel Haskell, both of Holt, were united in marriage on Oct. 9, 2010, at the Park Shore Resort in Traverse City. Rev. Susan Prescott officiated the 5 p.m. double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kim Yachasz of Lachine. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Haskell of Leslie.
The bride was attended by two maids of honor, her sisters Misty Yachasz-King and Kylie Yachasz, both of Traverse City. Bridesmaids were Kristi Fortine of Traverse City and Jackie St. Onge of Tecumseh. Junior bridesmaid was the bride's daughter, Madaline Skowronek.
The groom was attended by his two best men, his brother, Matt Haskell of Lansing, and best friend Ryan Davis of Holt. Groomsmen were the groom's cousins, Joe Haskell of Yuma, Ariz., as well as Jon and Josh Haskell, both of Lansing.
Serving as ushers were friends of the groom, Tyler Howe and Ashley Hassenger, both of Leslie. Usherette was friend of the bride, Kacey Beattie of Alpena. Harpist was Morgan Haskell of Lansing.
The wedding reception was also held on Traverse Bay at the Parkshore Resort.
Amy graduated from Alpena High School and Alpena Community College with a degree in graphic arts. She works at Presort Services as a finance clerk. Corey graduated from Leslie High School and received a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems from Ferris State University. He is employed as a Java/Net developer for Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan.
The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in St. Augustine, Fla.
