Amy Lynne Henderson and Adam Lee Ferris exchanged their wedding vows Jan. 8, 2011, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Tonawanda, N.Y. Pastor Erickson officiated the 1 p.m. double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Jeffrey Henderson of Brampton, Ontario, and Lynne Tetlow of Montreal, Quebec. The groom is the son of Harry Ferris, Jr. of Alpena and Jane Mortimer, also of Alpena.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was her friend, Sandra Frizzle. Bridesmaids were Katie Clemens-Seely, Lora Stevens and Joanna Despres, friends of the bride. Attending the groom as best man was his friend, Andrew Kelsch. Groomsmen were Sean Ferris, brother of the groom, and Christopher Woods, Ryan DeDuijtsche, Joshua Smith and Joshua Anderson, all friends of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception honoring the newlyweds was held at the Pearl Street Grill in Buffalo, N.Y. A rehearsal dinner took place at Chef's, also in Buffalo.

Amy holds a BSC degree in agricultural and environmental sciences. Adam holds a BS degree in construction management and an AAS degree in climate control management. He is employed at Lender Consulting Services, Inc.

The newlyweds are making their home in Buffalo.
