Brooke Grohowski and Eric Repke, both of Milford, announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Alan Grohowski of Alpena and Julie Grohowski of West Palm Beach, Fla. Her fiance is the son of Eugene and Nancy Repke of Alpena.
Brooke is a 2000 graduate of Alpena High School and a graduate of Alpena Community College, the Institute of Natural Therapies and Ferris State University. She is employed as a chiropractic assistant/massage therapist and a dental hygienist.

Eric is a 1996 graduate of Alpena High School and a dual bachelor's degree graduate of Michigan State University. He is employed as a manufacturing engineer at Lear Corp.
The couple will exchange vows on July 16, 2011, at a beach ceremony in Alpena.
