The Alpena Community College Spotlight Series presents violinist and conductor Dr. Eric Lawson and guitarist Jeff Anvinson with the ACC Chamber Ensemble Strings on March 18 at 7:30 p.m. in the ACC Granum Theatre. The concert represents the final performance of the 2010-11 Spotlight Series Season.
Lawson has always pursued a balance between teaching and performing. He has taught in collegiate and private settings and performs and conducts master classes throughout the United States, Asia, Europe and South America. In this performance Lawson joins Anvinson in a workshop for ACC strings students and a duo recital which will include tangos, classical works and original compositions.
