Rebekah (Bekah) Brown and Robert (Rob) Johnson announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Marvin and Betty Brown of Ossineke. Her fiance is the son of Deborah Houston of Flat Rock and James Johnson of Westland.
Rebekah graduated from Alpena High School in 2000 and completed her bachelor's degree in 2004 at the University of Michigan. Robert graduated from Wayne Memorial in 2000 and completed his bachelor's degree in 2004 at Michigan Tech.

Robert and Rebekah are planning a move to Thailand shortly after their marriage to teach English.
The couple will exchange their wedding vows March 26 in the Conservatory at the Matthaei Botanical Gardens in Ann Arbor.
