Jamie Dewar and David Wayne, both of Oviedo, Fla., announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Larry and Debra Dewar of Hubbard Lake. Her fiance is the son of Steven and Elizabeth Wayne of Collierville, Tenn.
Jamie is a 1998 graduate of Alpena High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Central Florida (UCF) with a master's degree in clinical psychology. She is currently employed with The Center for Drug-Free Living as a licensed mental health counselor.

David is a 1999 graduate of Rochester High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Ph.D. in electrical engineering. He is currently employed with UCF as a research scientist.
The couple will exchange their wedding vows on June 22 in Key West, Fla.
