Courtney Smith of Marquette and Jake Hoover of Capac announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Tim and Barb Smith of Lachine. The future groom is the son of Jim and Jane Hoover of Capac.
Courtney is a 2006 graduate of Mio AuSable High School and a 2010 graduate of Lake Superior State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. She is employed by Makela, Toutant, Hill & Nardi, P.C. in Marquette. Jake is a 2006 graduate of Capac High School and will graduate from Lake Superior State University in April with a Bachelor's Degree in English.
