Amy Thomson and Steven Hall exchanged their wedding vows Aug. 7 at Trinity Fellowship Church in Big Rapids. Dr. Gerhard de Bock officiated the 2 p.m. double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Larry and Mary Jane Thomson of Alpena. The groom is the son of Timothy and Krystine Hall of Kent City.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Abby Thomson. Bridesmaids were Kristin Englund, Lauren Kroll and Kaitlin Stark, all friends of the bride. Flower girl was Abby Kiel, cousin of the groom.

Attending the groom as best man was his brother, Michael Hall. Groomsmen were Andrew Thomson, brother of the bride; Joshua Hall, cousin of the groom; and Caleb Bryant, friend of the bride and groom. Ring bearer was Gabe Kiel, cousin of the groom. Serving as ushers were Sam Kiel, Andrew Thomson, Joshua Hall and Caleb Bryant.

Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at Tullymore Golf Resort in Stanwood. A rehearsal dinner took place at Trinity Fellowship Church in Big Rapids.

Amy is in her final year of Ferris State University's pharmacy program and will graduate May 11. Steven is employed by Jenison Public Schools.

The couple spent their honeymoon at Shenandoah Crossing Resort in Gordonsville, Va. They are residing in Wyoming, Mich.
