Rose Zbytowski and Ryan Lucas exchanged their wedding vows July 31 at Long Rapids First Congregational Church. Pastor Arnie Kirschner officiated the 2 p.m. double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Charles and Susan Zbytowski of Herron. The groom is the son of Ronald and Connie Lucas of Posen.

Attending the bride as matron of honor was her cousin, Stacie Minnick. Bridesmaids were Nichole Kolnowski, Karri Wilson, Angela Spigelmyre, Amanda Derry and Ashley Skiera, friends of the bride.

Attending the groom as best man was his friend, Adam Lumsden. Groomsmen were Brentt Lucas and Derek Lucas, brothers of the groom; Doug Fras and Travis Niedbala, cousins of the groom; and Aaron Christensen, friend of the groom. The flower girl was Hailey Lucas, niece of the groom. The ring bearer was Jonathon Zbytowski, nephew of the bride. Serving as ushers were Chance Wong and Nick Donajkowski, friends of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at the Posen Community Center.

Rose graduated from Alpena High School in 2004 and will graduate in May 2011 from Alpena Community College with an associate's degree in medical assistance. She is employed by Alpena Regional Medical Center. Ryan is a 2002 graduate of Alpena High School and is employed by Hall's Serve-All.

The couple is planning a honeymoon trip to Punta Cana in January. They are residing in Posen.
