Stephanie Lynn Wilson and Daniel Joseph Florip exchanged their wedding vows June 19 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Alpena. Father Greg McCallum officiated the 1 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Harry and Cindy Wilson of Alpena. The groom is the son of James and Ann Florip, also of Alpena.
Attending the bride as maid of honor was her friend, Lisa McQuarrie. Bridesmaids were Bernadette Nguyen, sister-in-law-elect of the groom, and Julie LaMay, Ellie Walker and Angie McDonald, all friends of the bride. Attending the groom as best man was his brother, John Florip. Groomsmen were Tom Florip, brother of the groom, Jeff Wilson, brother of the bride, and Lucas Alexander and Matthew Wojda, friends of the groom.
Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at St. Anne Parish Center.
Stephanie is a 1998 graduate of Alpena High School and a 2003 graduate of Central Michigan University. She is employed as a teacher by Hillman Community Schools. Daniel is a 1999 graduate of Alpena High School, a 2003 graduate of the University of Michigan, and a 2006 graduate of Ave Maria School of Law. He is employed as an associate attorney with Gillard, Bauer, Mazrum, Florip, Smigelski, and Gulden.
The couple honeymooned in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, and are making their home in Alpena.
