Kayla Ball and Justin Kollien exchanged their wedding vows July 31 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Alpena. Pastor Jim Erickson officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Tom and Kris Ball of Alpena. The groom is the son of Kevin Kollien and Donna Gagnier, both of Alpena.

Attending the bride as matron of honor was her cousin, Kelly Curnalia. Andrea Andrek, friend of the bride, attended as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sarah West and Missy Miller, friends of the bride; Sara Kollien, sister of the groom; and Darcie Long, cousin of the bride. Attending the groom as best man was his friend, Dan Garant. Groomsmen were Brian Mischloney, Aaron Adams, Alan Talaski and Adam Montroy, friends of the groom, and Tait Ball, brother of the bride. Logan Bouchard, godson of the bride, served as ring bearer.

Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at St. Anne's Parish Hall.

The couple honeymooned on a Caribbean cruise. They make their home in Commerce Township.
