Pamela Ellsworth and Charles Schaudt, Sr. exchanged their wedding vows Aug. 28 in an outdoor ceremony at their home in Hillman. Rev. Richard Clapp of Leer Lutheran Church officiated the 5 p.m. double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Al and Dianne Sharp of Ossineke and the late Curtis Pleiness. The groom is the son of the late Roland and Viola Schaudt.

Attending the bride as matron of honor was her daughter, Stephenye Boyav, and as maid of honor was her sister, Charleen Pleiness. Bridesmaids were Joyce Bufka, friend of the bride, and Geraldine Schaudt, sister-in-law of the groom. Attending the groom as best man was his friend, Dennis Walker. Groomsmen were Brian Pleiness, brother of the bride; and Neil Schaudt, brother of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held outdoors at their home. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the bride and groom at the same location.

Pamela is a 1983 graduate of Alpena High School and is owner of Natures Caretakers. Charles is a 1974 graduate of Hillman High School and is owner of C&S Lawn Care Toro Irrigation.

The couple is residing in Hillman. They are planning a honeymoon later this winter.
