Eugene and Pam Boyk recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with an outdoor gathering of family and friends at the home of Jerry and Beth Skiba.
Sharing in the celebration were several members of their original wedding party, including attendants Phyllis (Tucker) Kuchnicki, Marlene (Boyk) Julian, Sonny Chrzan and Tom Nowak.
Mr. Boyk and the former Pamela Tucker were married July 16, 1960, at St. Anne Catholic Church in Alpena. They have four children, Beth and Dr. Gerald Skiba of Ossineke; David and Darla of Pemberville, Ohio; Tim and Shannon of Greenfield, Ind.; and Sue Mercer of Stanwood. They also have eight grandchildren.
