Edwin and Alice Suszek of Alpena are celebrating their 69th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.
Mr. Suszek and the former Alice Chrzan were married Sept. 1, 1941, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Alpena by the Monsignor John Gatzke.
The couple has two children, Gary (Mary) Suszek of St. Charles and Rick (Sue) Suszek of Alpena. They also have four grandchildren, Naia of Boulder, Colo., Adam of Howell, Rhianne of Detroit and Janine of Bridgeport.
