Frederick and Arlene Meldrum of Alpena celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Aug. 14 with a family reunion at McRae Park.
Frederick and the former Arlene Glanville were married Aug. 19, 1950, at St. Valentine's Church in Redford Township.
Their children are Suzan Keena of Alpena, Donald (Alyce) of San Jose, Calif., Brian of Alpena, David (Anna) of Idaho Springs, Colo., Kathleen Brown (Kevin) of Littleton, Colo., Kayla Biard (Mike) of Ft. Collins, Colo., and Thomas of Golden of Colorado. In addition to their children, the couple share 20 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
