Arlene and Al Amelotte of Beaver Lake Rd., Lachine, recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
Their children are Ken (Nancy) Amelotte of Lachine, and Carey (Tim) Onore of Flint. Grandchildren are Michele (Benjamin) Shanafelt of Holland, Vicki Onore of Flint and Jessica Konarzewski of Alpena. They were also blessed with a fourth grandchild for a short period of time, Jennifer Onore, before she walked into heaven at the age of 2. Great-grandchildren are Logan Konarzewski of Alpena and Bodie Shanafelt of Holland.
Mr. Amelotte and the former Arlene Goodrich were married Aug. 5, 1950. They are both retired from the Flint Board of Education.
