Frank 50th

Don and Marilyn Frank of 327 N. Brooke St., Alpena, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary the week of June 11 with their children and families. They first spent time in Ft. Wayne, Ind., and then took a train ride to Brentwood, Calif., with their grandchildren.

Mr. Frank and the former Marilyn Herzog were married June 11, 1960, at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church in Frankenmuth. They have two sons, Allan Frank of Brentwood, Calif., and Jeffrey Frank of Ft. Wayne, Ind. Their grandchildren are Jason, Daniel, Maya and Michael.

Both Don and Marilyn worked for Alpena Public Schools. Don was a special education teacher, while Marilyn was director of elementary instruction before retiring. Don in now doing part-time work at the Combat Readiness Training Center.
