Bob and Chris Wyns of 283 Helen St., Alpena, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a dinner with family members. They also spent the weekend out of town.
Mr. Wyns and the former Chris Gozdor were married June 11, 1960, at St. Anne Catholic Church in Harrisville. Their children are Krisha (Charles) Smith of Harrisville and Eric (Tammie) Wyns of Westminster, Colo. Their grandchildren are Neil Smith, Nikole (Doug) Compton, Ryan Smith, Erika Smith and Karsen Smith. They also have four great-grandchildren: Austin and Maddison Compton, Devin Smith and Cuyler Smith.
Bob is retired from Alpena Public Schools.
