Bruce and Midge Connon of Alpena celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary May 28 with a family dinner held at their home.
The couple's children are Kara and Bill LaMarre of Alpena and Jeff Connon of Alpena. In addition to their children they have five grandsons: Ken and Craig LaMarre, and Justin, Jordan and Jonathon Connon.
Mr. Connon and the former Midge Davis were married May 28, 1960, at Calvary Episcopal Church in Hillman with Rev. Gil Runkel officiating. Bruce and Midge are both retired from Alpena Public Schools.
