Sheryl Renee Kosal and Russell Dennis Smith exchanged their wedding vows June 19 at the United Methodist Church in Lincoln. Pastor Tracy Brooks officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Stuart Kosal and Barbara Kosal of Barton City. The groom is the son of the late Russell Angus Smith and Verna Mae Smith of Barton City.

Attending the couple were matron of honor Darlene Sharboneau and best man Keith Sharboneau. Serving as ushers were nephews Michael and Tony Kosal.

A reception in honor of the newlyweds is being planned in August in Gaylord.

Sheryl is employed as a 911 dispatcher for Antrim County Sheriff Dept. in Bellaire. Russell is employed as captain of the Michigan State Police 7th District in Acme.

The newlyweds will take a honeymoon trip in October to Tennessee. They are residing in Bellaire.
