Russell and Florence Geary of Barton City recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at the Backwoods Bistro in Lincoln.
Mr. Geary and the former Florence (Shuttleworth) Cameron were married June 25, 1960, in Mt. Pleasant. They have two children: Robert (Linda) Geary of Henderson, Ky., and Gerald Cameron of Wixom. Their grandchildren are Robin (Joe) Laskowski of Redford, Mark Cameron of Detroit, Kevin (Micky) Beyer of Mt. Vernon, Ill., and Kimberly (Eric) Long of Henderson, Ky. They also have two great-grandchildren: Cecelia E. and Ellie R. Laskowski.
Russell retired from Bejin Trucking in Detroit and Florence retired from Sterling Stamping Co. in Oak Park, both in 1980. They then moved to Barton City.
