Tracy Wilson and Jeremy Romel exchanged their wedding vows Oct. 10, 2009, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Alpena. Father Greg McCallum officiated the 1 p.m. double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Harold and Sue Wilson of Alpena. The groom is the son of Alvin and Denice Romel of Posen.
Attending the bride as matron of honor was her friend, Allison Kamyszek. Bridesmaids were Leslie Skiba, Erica Senchuk, Heather Burr, Tina Farrier, Alicia Walsh and Shannon Rondeau, friends of the bride; and Kristin Tanner, cousin of the bride. Serving as the flower girls were Elizabeth Romel and Rebecca Romel, nieces of the groom.
Attending the groom as best man was his friend, Derek Schellie. Groomsmen were Paul Romel and John Romel, brothers of the groom; Tommy Wilson, brother of the bride; Chris Romel, cousin of the groom; and Jacob Peters, Brad Kruczynski and Jacob Darga, friends of the groom. Ushers were Chad Romel, brother of the groom; and Matt Ciarkowski, friend of the groom. Serving as the ring bearer was Gage Kruczynski, cousin of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at the Posen Community Center. Pre-nuptial parties included a rehearsal dinner at the home of the bride's parents.
Tracy has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Central Michigan University and is employed at New Horizons Rehabilitation in Davisburg. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Social Work Degree from Eastern Michigan University. Jeremy has an Associate's Degree in Concrete Technology from Alpena Community College and is employed by Construction Testing Services in Burton.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Jamaica and are currently residing in Linden.
