Melissa Lancewicz and Marty LaHaie exchanged their wedding vows June 27, 2009, at Castle Farms in Charlevoix. Chris LaHaie, the groom's cousin, officiated the 4 p.m. double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Kathy Kindt of Alpena, and Ron and Tammy Lancewicz of Alpena. The groom is the son of Marty and Cindy LaHaie of Alpena.

Attending the bride as maids of honor were her sister, Kayla Lancewicz, and Tiffany Vanier. Bridesmaids were Becky LaHaie, Tiffany Gagnon-Wielart, Kristen Lewandowski and Stephanie Piper. Gretchen Ross, a niece, served as the flower girl.

Attending the groom as best men were Chris McConnell and Chris Bronson. Groomsmen were Todd LaHaie, Mike Lancewicz, Nick Hartman and Nick Bourdage. Serving as ushers were Greg Diamond and Dave Curley.

Following the ceremony, a reception honoring the newlyweds was held at Castle Farms. Prior to the wedding, a rehearsal dinner took place at the home of the bride's father.

Melissa attended Alpena Community College and Grand Rapids Community College. She is employed as manager of Trade Secret. Marty attended the ACC concrete technology program and is employed by Driesenga & Associates as an engineering tech.

The couple is residing in Grand Rapids.
