Jamie Lynn Lamp and Dennis Lance Quick exchanged their wedding vows Oct. 3, 2009, at Word of Life Baptist Church in Alpena. Pastor Dan Lute officiated the 1 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jan and the late William Lamp of Alpena. The groom is the son of Dave and Dava Abend of Ossineke, and Doug and Tamara Quick of Harrisville.
Attending the bride as matron of honor was her lifelong friend, Kara Kaminski. Bridesmaids were Denise Chapman, Angie King and Karen Misiak, friends of the bride, and Melissa Kolb, stepsister of the groom. Serving as flower girl was Aubrey Chapman, friend of the bride. Attending the groom as best man was his brother, Dan Quick. Groomsmen were Derek Quick, brother of the groom; Jason Kolb, stepbrother-in-law of the groom; and Jason Main and Chris Kauffman, friends of the groom. Serving as ring bearers were Brady Chapman and Gavin Chapman, friends of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at the Thunder Bay Recreation Center. A rehearsal dinner took place at Rosa's Lookout Inn in Spruce.
Jamie is a 2003 graduate of Alpena High School and a 2007 graduate of Northwood University with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. She is employed by Alpena Alcona Area Credit Union. Derek is a 2003 graduate of AHS and attended Alpena Community College. He is employed by Werth Electric.
The couple spent their honeymoon on Marco Island in Florida. They are residing in Ossineke.
