Elizabeth Straley and Tyler Buchinger announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mark and Janet Straley of Alpena. Her fiance is the son of Andrew and Stephanie Buchinger of Lachine.
Elizabeth is a 2006 graduate of Alpena High School and will graduate from Lake Superior State University in 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in nursing. Tyler is a 2006 graduate of Alpena High School and a 2009 graduate of Lake Superior State University. He is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in fisheries and wildlife at Michigan State University.

The couple will exchange their wedding vows July 31 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Alpena.
