COMPEAU, Robert James, 72, of Fenton died Monday, March 15, 2010, at University Hospitals, Ann Arbor.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; son, Anthony of Fenton; daughter, Annette of Fenton; three grandchildren, Mark, Kalie, and Quenin; one great-grandson; stepfather, Andrew Prieur of Hubbard Lake; brother, Rick (Joyce) of Hubbard Lake; sister, Cheryl (Ronnie) Pratt of Montrose; son-in-law, Paul Pappas of Linden; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 19, 2010, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Fenton, with Rev. David Harvey celebrant. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Thursday from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. and at church Friday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. A vigil service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A VFW Men's Auxiliary Service will be held 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
