Samantha Jo Hansen and Aaron John Marzean, both of Gillette, Wyo., announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mike and Lori Hansen of Dorr, Mich. Her fiance is the son of Tom and Peggy Marzean of Alpena.
Samantha is a 2007 graduate of Wayland Union High School and is currently attending Bismarck State College for phlebotomy and nursing. She is employed by Wells Fargo Bank as a teller.

Aaron is a 2004 graduate of Alpena High School and a 2009 graduate of Michigan Technological University with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is currently employed by Westcon Industries as a mechanical field engineer.
The couple will exchange their wedding vows May 15 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Alpena.
