Stephanie Wilson and Daniel Florip, both of Alpena, announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Harry and Cindy Wilson of Alpena. Her fiance is the son of James and Ann Florip, also of Alpena.
Stephanie is a 1998 graduate of Alpena High School and a 2003 graduate of Central Michigan University, earning a degree in elementary education. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in early childhood development, and is employed by Bingham Arts Academy. Daniel is a 1999 AHS graduate, a 2003 graduate of the University of Michigan, and a 2006 graduate of Ave Maria School of Law. He is employed as an attorney with Gillard, Bauer, Mazrum, Florip, Smigelski & Gulden.
The couple is extensively involved in the Alpena community. Stephanie serves on the board of directors for the Alpena Tennis Association. Daniel serves on the boards of directors for Alpena Habitat for Humanity and Junior Achievement of Alpena, and on the Planned Gifts Committee of the Alpena Regional Medical Center Development Council.
The couple will exchange their wedding vows June 19 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Alpena.
