Kasey Marshall and Brian Schiellerd exchanged their wedding vows July 25, 2009, at Redeemer United Methodist Church in Dewitt. Pastor Bob Girwood officiated the 1:30 p.m. double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Chris and Debbie Marshall of Muir. The groom is the son of Donald and Deborah Schiellerd of 6381 Ratz Rd., Hubbard Lake.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was her cousin, Jessica Fletcher. Serving as bridesmaids were Sarah Marshall, sister-in-law of the bride; Michelle Schneider, friend of the bride and groom; and Jenna Lemke and Korina Thompson, friends of the bride. The flower girl was Brooke Marshall, niece of the bride.

Attending the groom as best man was his brother, Bradley Schiellerd. Groomsmen were Nicholas Kissau, cousin of the groom; Wade Lehman and Tony Schultz, friends of the groom; and Keith Marshall, brother of the bride. Ushers included Kevin and Jarrod Fletcher.

Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at the Eagle Eye Golf Club in Bath. Pre-nuptial parties included a rehearsal dinner at Old Chicago.

Brian is a 2003 graduate of Alpena High School and a 2007 graduate of Michigan State University. He is employed at MichiganCat in Novi. Kasey is a 2003 graduate of Ionia High School and a 2007 graduate of Michigan State University. She is employed at MSU in Lansing.

The newlyweds honeymooned at the Sandal's in Jamaica. They are currently residing in Okemos.
