Lea Ann Gagnon and Nicholas Andrew Skiba, both of Amherst, N.H., announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mike and Lisa Gagnon of Lowell, Mass. Her fiance is the son of Ivan and Mary McLaren, and Patrick Skiba, all of Alpena.
Lea Ann is a 1996 graduate of Lowell High School in Lowell, Mass., and a 2008 graduate of Northern Essex Community College. She is employed by Shared Medical Services as an MRI technologist. Nicholas is a 1997 graduate of Alpena High School, a 2001 graduate from Northern Michigan University with a degree in law enforcement and a 2001 graduate of the Northern Michigan University Police Academy. He is employed by Amherst City Police as a police officer.
