Robert and Marilyn Ross of 510 June, Alpena, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 21 with a renewal of their vows by Pastor Shane Bengry at Alpena Free Methodist Church. A reception followed at the Alpena Holiday Inn with family and friends.
The couple's children are Jerry and Debbie (Ross) Kieliszewski, and Mike and Darbie Ross, all of Alpena. Their grandchildren are Brandon, Natasha and Dakotah Ross, Sara Ludwiczak, and Jesse and Brittaney Kieliszewski. The couple also has three great-grandchildren: Alexis, Hallie and Zoie Ludwiczak, all of Alpena.
Mr. Ross and the former Marilyn Bedford were married Oct. 10, 1959, at First United Methodist Church. Robert retired from Stoneport in 2002 after 33 years as an electrician. Marilyn retired from Alpena Regional Medical Center in 2003 after 30 years as a nurse.
