Louis and Eunice DeCaire of 715 Sable, Alpena, recently celebrated their 64th anniversary with a dinner at the John A. Lau Saloon.
Mr. DeCaire and the former Eunice Bailey were married Dec. 1, 1945, at St. Anne Catholic Church in Alpena by Father William F. Simon. Their children are Judith (Tom) Sommerfeld of Alpena, Donna (Jim) Zolnierek of Alpena, Nancy (Al) Kannowski of Alpena, Michael (Jane) DeCaire of Katy, Texas, and Debbie Max of Alpena. The couple also have 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Louis is retired from the United States Postal Service.
