Radocy/Wienczewski

Anne Elizabeth Radocy and Dr. Christopher Allen Wienczewski exchanged wedding vows June 6 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Alpena. Father Patrick Maher officiated the 1 p.m. double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of John and Susan Radocy of 9878 US-23-N, Alpena. The groom is the son of Barbara Wienczewski of 222 E. Bingham, Alpena, and Dr. Phillip Wienczewski of Tawas.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was lifelong best friend, Kathryn Fox of Jenison. Bridesmaids were Chelsea (Skiba) Bruski, Katie Young, Amy (Rajala) Girard, all of Alpena, and Mindy Kelley of Willits, Calif. Serving as flower girls were godchild Tessa Kennedy Palmer, Emma Claire Palmer and Julia Grace Palmer of Toledo, Ohio, cousins of the bride.

Attending the groom as best man was lifelong best friend Andrew Kowalski of Sterling Heights. Groomsmen were Edward Wienczewski of Grandville and Mark Wienczewski of Honor, brothers of the groom; and Ben Meden and Chris Nielsen, both of Chicago, Ill., friends of the groom. Serving as ushers were Matthew Radocy of Lansing and Christopher Radocy of Tacoma, Wash., brothers of the bride, and Chris Geroux of Lapeer, friend of the groom.

Special readings and participants were Tara Wienczewski of Houghton Lake, sister of the bride; Mark Grant of Toledo, Ohio, uncle of the bride; Angie Grabowski of Macomb, friend of the bride; Stephanie Delaney of Bethesda, Md., friend of the bride; and Karen Grant of Toledo, aunt of the bride.

A reception was held in honor of the newlyweds for 140 guests at Churchill Pointe Inn in Hubbard Lake. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents at The Courtyard in Alpena.

Anne is a 2002 graduate of Alpena High School and a 2007 graduate of Ferris State University. She is employed as a registered dental hygienist in Birmingham and St. Clair Shores. Christopher is a 2000 graduate of Alpena High School and a 2004 graduate of the Lyman Briggs College at Michigan State University. He graduated June 2 from Wayne State University School of Medicine, and is currently completing his pathology residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Jamaica and are residing in Royal Oak.
