Jessica Edwards and Brandt Bahling exchanged their wedding vows Sept. 19 at the Radisson Hotel in Newport Beach, Calif. Jesse Christopherson, formerly of Posen, officiated the 5:30 p.m. outdoor, double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Kevin and Cristina Edwards of Loma Linda, Calif. The groom is the son of James and DeLynne Bahling of Lachine.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Erika Edwards. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Valdiz, cousin of the bride; Lisa Patel, friend of the bride; and Laura Bahling, sister of the groom. Attending the groom as best man was his cousin, Nathan Splitt. Groomsmen were David Edwards, brother of the bride; Chris Wirgau and Scott Wozniak, friends of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at the Radisson Hotel, with a second reception held Sept. 26 at Long Rapids Hall. The rehearsal dinner took place at Islands in Newport Beach.

Jessica is a 2001 graduate of Redlands High School, a 2005 graduate of the University of Redlands with a degree in psychology and a 2008 graduate of Chapman University with a master's in education degree. She is employed by Fontana Unified School District. Brandt is a 2000 graduate of Alpena High School, a 2002 graduate of Kellogg Community College and Alpena Community College, and a 2004 graduate of Michigan Technological University with a degree in business administration. He is employed by EPIC Management.

The newlyweds are residing in Yucaipa, Calif. They are planning a future honeymoon in Hawaii.
