Richard and Theresa (Terri) Glowacki of 823 Oak St., Hubbard Lake, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner on Hubbard Lake with family and "adopted" family on Aug. 1. A mass at St. Catherine Church, followed by a small dinner at Churchill Pointe Inn also were held on Oct. 3.
Mr. Glowacki and the former Theresa Plonka were married Oct. 3, 1959, at St. Barbara Church in Dearborn. Their children are Mark (Chery) Glowacki of Columbia, S.C., and "adopted" Kirk (Deb) Peterson of Comins. Grandchildren are Bradley Glowacki of Rockhill, S.C., and Alex Glowacki of Columbia, S.C.
Both Richard and Theresa are retired from Ford Motor Co.
