Stanley and Lois Dziesinski of 545 Minor Street recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a mass officiated by Rev. Rolando Silva at St. Anne Catholic Church. Following mass a dinner at the Courtyard was hosted by their children, Sherry and Richard Donakowski, Jeannine and Travis Jones, Dick and Kathy Dziesinski, Bill and Phyllis Dziesinski, and Stanley Jr., all of Alpena.
Attending the celebration were three members of the original wedding party: Gerry Weide, Blondine Smolinski and Anna Mae Marotta.
Mr. Dziesinski and the former Lois Cain were married Sept. 3, 1949, at St. Anne Catholic Church. They have eight grandchildren: Aubry Dziesinski, Amy (Jason) Cole, Richie Donakowski, Jessie Donakowski, Nick Donakowski, Adam Dziesinski, Janel Dziesinski, Kyle Dziesinski and Amanda Rose Jones.
