Catherine Grace Schultz and Nathan James Fitzpatrick exchanged their wedding vows Sept. 20, 2008, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Alpena. The Rev. James Erickson officiated the 1:30 p.m. double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Susan Schultz of 411 W. Campbell, Alpena? The groom is the son of Mark and Kris Fitzpatrick of 3002 Lowell Rd., Alpena.
Attending the bride as maid of honor was her cousin and friend, Amy (Rajala) Girard. Bridesmaids were Jodi Adrian Glomski, an aunt; Chelsey Bruski, Erica Rios and Catherine Digue, friends of the bride; Mieke Fitzpatrick, sister of the groom; and Kelli Adrian, cousin on the bride. Serving as junior bridesmaid was Jana Adrian, cousin of the bride.
Attending the groom as best man was his brother and friend, Mark Fitzpatrick, Jr. Ethan Fitzpatrick, son of the groom, served as junior best man. Groomsmen were Chad Mischley, Gary Benson, Josh Yuchasz, Tony Pratt and James Brietzke, friends of the groom. Serving as ushers were Travis Konarzewski and Jeff Chabot.
A reception honoring the newlyweds was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall. The rehearsal dinner took place at JJ's Steak and Pizza House.
Catie is a graduate of Alpena High School and is employed by Alltel Wireless. Nathan is also an AHS graduate and is employed by Great North Foods.
The couple are planning a honeymoon trip to the Florida Keys. They are residing at 2010 Autumn Drive, Alpena.
