Marge and Clyde Graichen, Jr. of Alpena recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. An informal surprise party was held July 25 at the home of their son, Clyde III. It was hosted by their children and spouses.
Sharing in the celebration were Clyde's sister and husband, Mary and Don Dillard of Las Vegas, Nev.
Mr. and Mrs. Graichen were married Aug. 27, 1949, at Fourth Avenue Baptist Church in Alpena. They have two children: Marge Marceau and Mike Wisniewski of Alpena, and Clyde (Jeannie) Graichen III of Alpena. The couple's grandchildren are Jeff Marceau, Jenny (Scott) Stevens, Jessie Graichen and Gina (Chris) Kauffman. They also have one great-grandchild, Ava Lynn Stevens.
