Amy Dziesinski and Jason Cole exchanged their wedding vows May 23 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Alpena. Father Patrick Maher officiated the 1 p.m. double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Richard (Dick) and Kathy Dziesinski of 212 Avery, Alpena. The groom is the son of Jeff and Sherry Cole of St. James City, Fla.
Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Aubry Dziesinski. Bridesmaids were Natalie Werda, cousin of the bride; Erin McLain, friend of the bride; Kaitlyn Gouin, friend of the bride; and Tara Wagner, friend of the bride and groom.
Attending the groom as best man was his brother, Matthew Cole. Groomsmen were Nicholas Langlois, friend of the groom and bride; Vincent Frigo, lifelong friend of the groom; Ian Westermann, college friend of the groom; and Jason Eckelstafer, friend of the groom. Ushers were Keith Nowak and Adam Dziesinski, cousins of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at St. Anne Parish Center. The rehearsal dinner took place at "Rolin Lynx" at the Alpena Golf Club.
Amy attended Alpena Community College and Ferris State University where she graduated from the nuclear medicine program. She is employed at the University of Virginia Medical Center as the lead nuclear medicine technologist. Jason received a bachelor's degree from Ferris State University in professional tennis management and business marketing. He is employed at Glenmore Country Club in Charlottesville, Va., as the head tennis professional.
The newlyweds are planning a honeymoon trip to the island of St. Maarten in November. They are currently residing in Charlottesville, Va.
